Hi, I'm Dr. Karen Gless, PhD, MFT, RN, a
licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified
Hypnotherapist. I have a private psychotherapy practice in San
Diego, California. For over 14 years I have been specializing in sex
therapy for individuals and couples. In order to help my clients I
developed the Pure Pleasure Series of self-hypnosis CDs for a great
sex life.
My focus is to help couples and individuals overcome their sexual
problems and have satisfying, rewarding relationships. My training
as a nurse helps me understand the physical and medical side of
sexual problems. It is my goal to help couples enjoy all areas of
their relationship.
My specialized training in human sexuality and counseling has
prepared me to work with a variety of sexual problems such as,
impotence, premature ejaculation, inability to have orgasms, lack of
sexual desire, and others. In my counseling practice I help my
clients deal with problems that arise in their relationships and in
their sex lives.
Education:
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC21423),
an author and a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience
in the field of medicine. I use brief therapy whenever possible.
Uiversity for Humanistic Studies, Ph.D. in Psychology with an Emphasis
in Health Sciences. University for Humanistic Studies, M.A. in
Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. Arizona State University,
B.S. in Nursing.

insurance questions, give my office a call. A sliding fee scale is also
available.
